It’s Ken!  I want to finish my story about finding this great golf ebook that would ultimately transform my game.  If you recall, I was looking to lower my scores somewhere around the mid-80’s.

To recap my story really quick, I had started searching high and low for some good training.  I wasn’t the best golfer in the world but I knew my way around the course for sure.

Like you are probably doing now, I tried out the free golf swing tips available online.  However, I didn’t notice any significant improvement in my scores or my game.

Admittedly, I had a conversation with my friend Jeff who lives in Florida.  He had mentioned dropping 18 strokes off his golf scores. As you can imagine, I was serious about finding out how he did it.

He spoke about how he suffered from the same issues with his golf game that I did (inconsistency, slicing and lack of distance).  But it turns out he found this site with a great golf swing instruction book

As soon as I hung up the phone, I checked out the site Jeff told me about.  I was impressed.  It had tons of testimonials of individuals who actually used the system and how it has effected their game.

My goal was not to become the next Tiger Woods, but to ideally reduce the number of bogey’s I accumulated each round.

I’ve bought books and other items online before and had to wait for them to be shipped. Amazingly enough, this instructional guide was downloadable and ready for me to take action.

I was shocked at how inexpensive it was (less than what you would pay for a round of golf in some places). It came with several bonuses that included ebooks for chipping, putting, sand play and a mental training tool.

As you can imagine, I was eager to get started. I spent the next two weeks learning and implementing the techniques in the book. It was not difficult even for a beginner.

All I can say is, WOW!

So many aspects of my golf game have improved. My shots are longer and straighter. I have dramatically reduced the number of times I hit slices. And I am having much better contact with the ball. Above all, I couldn’t be happier.

Even though I have yet to reach my handicap goal, I don’t see that being a problem based on the way I am playing.

I can’t wait to book my next round of golf!

I spoke to a friend of mine (Jeff) who lives in Florida. We were catching up on old times and got on the subject of golf.

You see, Jeff and I played on occasion and it was a hack fest.

I was explaining to him the trouble I was having regarding my swing and other aspects of my game. He could certainly sympathized with what I was going through. He has been there before himself.

Jeff informed me that he had purchased this golf book online that has totally changed the way he plays golf.

He said that he has, so far, dropped 18 strokes off of his score.

That was all I needed to hear! After getting off the phone with Jeff, I went to visit the website that he told me about and got the book. I can hardly wait to go through it and get started.

It’s Ken again.  I thought I would take a quick second to show you my golf clubs.  All golfers likes to show off a little bit and I figured I would do the same!

I am by no means a professional golfer, but I have the necessary tools … driver, irons, hybrids, putter and the like.  Here’s a picture…

I thought I would tell you how I got to the point of needing a good golf instruction book. Yesterday, I had a grueling day on the golf course.

If I calculated my scores correctly, I think I shot a 113. This is pretty ridiculous, to me that is.

I have been playing for a few years but not on a consistent basis. I have never taken any formal golf instructions or lessons (because they can get to be so expensive). Just a couple of tips from friends and people at the practice range.

With that being said, I need to make some serious changes if I want to compete with my buddies and talk trash. The worse thing about being on the course with your friends is the trash talking, which I love. However, it seems that I get the most thrown at me because of my game.

So, today, I have decided to do something about it. I have started this blog to plot out my journey to lowering my handicap. I don’t know how long this is going to take but I am on a mission to accomplish this goal.

I have decided to search the Internet for the best golf instruction books to help me with this feat.

Stay tuned to see how this goes…
